The Joy Of Plein Air Painting

Many of us have been painting outdoors and still life setups for a few years now.   The best part is the reaction of the public.  Rob Decker always has the best response for those admirers who wish they could be a plein air artist.
"Pull up a chair, I saved you a spot right here". He then gestures next to him.
I am not going to kid you. Art is hard but what a way to spend the rest of your life. Learning to see and paint the beauty around you.
Notice in all the pictures below the joy on our faces.
