Day 19 of the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge by Leslie Saeta.
Here is Jennifer Thompson's watercolor on paper. Value Study XIX; Spooky. "Spooky" is the name of a slot canyon on the
Escalante National Monument, near Escalante, UT. This was a difficult
study. The rock is sandstone, weathered by water over millenia. Rock is
typically hard but these undulate in almost feminine fashion.
